Airtel Money Men’s Golf Championship is expected to conclude today at Country Club Limbe (CCL) after three days of excitement.

The company’s board chairperson Alex Chitsime kicked off the competition on Friday with a shot that meandered through the golf course’s trees and landed comfortably close to a bunker.

Prominent golfers such as Golf Union of Malawi (GUoM) president James Chimwaza, Airtel Money country director Andrew Santhe and Nico General Insurance Company’s managing director Eric Chapola also took part in the stroke-play format event.

However, out of the 152 individuals that are on the list of participants in this big event, only one golfer will walk out of the CCL with a triumphant smile during prize presentation at 5pm today.

According to Airtel Money marketing manager Masiye Mazaza, they invested K5 million into the event, which is among the company’s series of golf tournaments they have organised for their elite customers in various golf clubs in the country.
